The 8th Hakeem Academy Annual Competition (HAAC) Concludes with Spectacular Results and Presentations
The highly anticipated 8th Hakeem Academy Annual Competition (HAAC) by Hakeem Academy reached its exciting climax as all 10 final teams from around the country showcased diverse health technology solutions. The event held at Orange Jordan Innovation Hub on the 31st of August 2023, featured remarkable presentations from budding healthcare technology enthusiasts, concluding months of hard work and dedication.
The event was attended by esteemed professionals and experts from the healthcare and technology sectors who served as judges: H.E. Mr. Marwan Juma the Chairman of dot.jo and kinz.jo, Eng. Rana Dababneh Corporate Communication and Sustainability Chief Officer at Orange Jordan, Dr. Rame Khasawneh Head of the Laboratory and Mobile Biological Laboratory at King Hussein Medical City, and Eng. Samer Yakhoul Director of Imaging Services at Electronic Health Solutions.
Following the judging panel deliration, the results were announced and the teams were recognized as the following:
First Place: WRIST REST secured the coveted first-place position with their innovative wrist rehabilitation device that integrates advanced technology, personalized exercises, and interactive
Second Place: RetinAi clinched the second-place position with their platform for early and accurate detection of eye diseases using Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms.
Third Place: The third-place position was earned by Neuro _STEM for their high-tech device that controls stress using the latest technologies and community support through an online website to enable users to live a stress-free life.
